Screenshots of Paparazzi!
Paparazzi! Editor's Review
Paparazzi! is a small utility for Mac OS X that makes screenshots of webpages.Paparazzi! takes screenshots and creates one image from a web page. Just paste the link and click on "capture" button. Shortly after that, an image preview will show you how the output fill looks like. If you agree with the preview you can save the file in multiple formats. There is also the possibility to save the image as an icon.
This tool also helps you to test your web page displayed in different resolutions. If you have in mind different dimensions you can edit the default ones. The "delay" option is used when you want to capture Flash web sites. You can define a certain time before the capture takes place, enough to get the right screenshot you want.
With Paparazzi! you can crop the image, but it won't modify in it's preview window. The software will import automatically your browser bookmarks, that is if you use only Camino and Apple Safari. It would be good to have a feature to import bookmarks from Mozilla Firefox for Mac, Flock, Netscape X, Opera for Mac and many others.
Paparazzi! can edit the default output file name in any way you would like, by a criterion. The supported file formats are: 'jpeg', 'tiff', 'png' and 'pdf'.
Pluses: output previewing option, lots of options and stable.
Drawbacks / flaws: it still needs more work on the interface.
In conclusion: This is a brilliant software for capturing web pages to images. DropImageURL is a shareware alternative to Paparazzi!.
